Honda CVT JUDDER Trouble How to FiX GD1 FIT CIVIC ,,,,,and so on

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
All you need is these tools

For my case.

* 2 boxes for ATF oil deisposal (I will change oil 2times)
* ratchet wrench 9.5m/m or 3/8 size
* Heat and oil resistant gloves
* funnel
* Oil Jar any size for 3.4litter

There are 2 steps for fixing Honda Judder problem.
1. Change ATF oil to Special oil called HMMF oil. I paid 40US for 4litter can. And cheange oil 2times. The first is for flashing old oil. My case, this fit has a very small Judder, so 1 time change should be enough, but I recommend 2times if judder is a big one. This time I changed 2times for a perfect result.

2. Adjusting ATF settings.

Ok Lets Start,

The first, for a smooth “ATF Oil” removal, Drive car for a white to warm “ATF Oil”
Then,

Using ratchet wrench, remove the drain pan , and oil goes off from the drain pan.
The Oil is heated, very hot, so I used Heat and oil resistant gloves for a safe.
Also, when loose the oil pan, a oil-gauge-stick is remain inserted(not pull stick off this stage), so that oil drops slowly. After a while, pull a oil-gauge-stick off and oil goes off from a drain like water. And leave it for about 20mins, put a new Hmmf oil 3.4litter for the case of GD1 FIT.

the oil pan Position is here

Using ratchet wrench 9.5m/m or 3/8 size Rotate toward backward as in picture. And oil start leaking,
Please use Glove to protect your skin as oil may be very hot and your hand keep clean.

Oil start dropping into a Disposal box; Leave it about 20min or until completly dropping

Then, the Oil pan goes back to the place where it was.

Using funnel and Oil Jar put oil 3.4litter for GD1 Fit.

2004 Honda FIT FOR SALE – STOCK

This Monday, I went to Honda Auction and
I bought a Honda Fit for stock.

DBA-GD1 2004 105,000km Auto Electrick Blue. 195,000Yen FOB

The after day of auction, we went to Honda Auction to pick the Fit up and I drove it to my office
, I found Honda Fit has a small cvt Judder.

This GD1 Honda CVT judder is very very common problem, and easy to fix if the symptom is not too bad.
I fixed this judder for more than 50cars,,, Instruction is in the end, if you have a trouble with Honda Judder.This post will be good help.

I guess 80% of Honda Old Fit has has a Judder trouble. The reason is ATF oil. If you change ATF oil at your local shop, then transmission will have a truble. Honda CVT needs special oil for it. The oil is Very light and weak. Should not be sticky. and CVT oil has to be changed for every 2 yaers. So most of old Honda CVT has a Judder trouble.

The Fit I bought for stock, has only small judder, may be some people will not notice for the judder.
So it will be very easy to fix. I will write a instruction “How to fix Honda CVT Judder” later in this article.

2013 Newzealand car import statistics

Here is some number of cars went to NZ 2013

Mostly came from Japan followed by U.K and Australia.

past 6month 64,334 used cars came from Japan, 1893 from UK , 1217 from Australia.

and from Japan  April 10006 cars and May 10402cars.

Still Newzealand market is big. this September is a little quiet but Dealers will start  buying cars very soon for Christmas sale.

For a Canadian catomers

We export cars to Canada where 15years old Japanese cars & Euro cars are very very popular.

Popular cars are 4WDs , BMWs, Figaros, and sport type of cars    anything older than 15years.

Popular destination is Vancouver , Newwestminister and Halifax.

This is not compulsory but many Canadian importer ask us wash cars (mainly under body) before ship.

This is done by Jevic and they issue Cleaning Certificate which Canadian customer can use when cars arrive.

Some people  ask us just a cleaning and no need certificate.  Canadian customs require car must be a clean when car

come into port.  And some cars are rejected and back to Japan because of dirtiness.

For a example of Freight for a Sedan size such as Corolla

To Vancouver ,     105,000yen

To Newwestminister   85,000yen

To Halifax ,  145,000yen

(* Freight change every month  please ask us accurate price   &  Freight is Prepaid only)

Jevic certificate is 20,000yen (not compulsory but recommend:  Just washing no certificate is available )

My fee is 60,000

Some auctions are far from port, in this case I will charge extra transport fee (depends on auction locations)

If you are Canadian cusomer who try to import  used japanese cars from japan, please feel free to drop me a line
